The Stilton Bell

The Stilton Bell is a celebration of both its namesake and its famous eighteenth century landlord Cooper Thornhill. 2005 marks the 300th anniversary of his birth and the birth of Dick Turpin, who is said to have lived at the Bell for 3 years.

A whole baby Stilton can be contained inside the bell cover and the generous faux marble plate will accommodate a complete round of Stilton or a cheese board. The underside relates some history of this great cheese. The Stilton Bell is featured on the cover of the 'Stilton Trail leaflet'.

One side of the highly detailed cover features an intricately modelled and hand-painted view of the Bell Inn and the other, a similarly produced image of its famous wrought iron and copper sign which weighs over 3/4 of a ton! The Stilton Bell is a strictly limited edition of 300, signed and numbered pieces. Each one is produced to order and the price includes your own unique dedication or inscription on the plate, if desired.
